I love that Pumpkin Jack is kind Original Iaff Firefighters For Biden Shirt of like a return to the old school mascot platformer days. The character and setting are truly unique and fun. And the controls in the demo were actually really nice. In fact, my only real complaint was during one section in a burning barn, there was a really really long period with no checkpoints that got repetitive as I died repeatedly. Otherwise, it was a pretty fun time. Nothing exceptional gameplay-wise, but if you like the aesthetic and want a 3D action platformer, this will deliver. One huge concern I have about the whole game is how long the specific spooky Halloween aesthetic will last before it gets old.

Jersey Devil and medieval had those kinda settings and this feels hardcore like medieval. Those games are great aesthetically for me still this just looks a lot better gameplay-wise. Idling in Darkshire, or pre-Cata Brill during Hallow’s End was great. I might want to make a local instance of it and trigger the server event just to see it again. The demo that was available during one of the Steam Festivals was pretty solid. The combat had a bit of flow to it and the overall designs were great. This may sound weird but I’m always attracted to pumpkin head characters in videogames due to starting to play WoW during the Halloween event.
