I hate reading my movies, so I rarely watch foreign films, but this one had me hooked. Official Baby Groot hug R.S.C. Anderlecht Shirt learned that it was actually in English I watched it again. Then about a week before it showed in the theater. I had a gut feeling about it, slowly but surely I was convinced that maybe it could be good and I went to see it, just for the hell of it. Same here, had no idea what it was about. Ended up loving it and straight ugly crying through the credits. I hadn’t even heard of it or seen previews or anything, and my mom took me and my siblings to go see it. To this day, I think it’s in my top 20 favorite movies. And as a new dad myself, that movie has some golden father-son parenting advice.

That movie was so much better. Official Baby Groot hug R.S.C. Anderlecht Shirt remembers when they announced it, and when they said Ryan Reynolds as Pikachu. I thought trainwreck impending until I saw that trailer. It is now basically one of the best video game movies, by leaps and bounds. The plot was a bit iffy for me but Ryan Reynolds as Pikachu and the rest of the pokemon were great. In the end, when Miguel sings to grandma Coco, I lose it. Full-on heavy ugly cry. The way they create the gravity of that moment. Then execute perfectly, is one of my favorite movie moments of all time. The first time I saw it was on an airplane. The whole thing was in Spanish with subtitles, which made sense at the time.

And I really wondered just how far that concept could go. Turns out pretty far. Great creative action scenes right up until the end and some genuinely funny moments. Yea it’s low stakes and their power is just shrinking and growing but they are so wholesome and encompassing with their characters. Moulin Rouge was a film that we watched in a film class in high school. I was expecting to hate it but then ended up loving it.
