In Islamic lands, the selling of alcohol was never prohibited to respect the non-Muslim minorities that inhabited the land. It’s only some radical Islamic governments nowadays going a bit cray-cray with forcing Islamic beliefs on everybody which is obviously wrong. I do that all the time. I like to use the World Muslim/Islam in a comment just to see it sink. Lol, I could have said the same thing without the word Islam and people would cheer me to the moon. Ethnically Christian here. I can go through the bible with a highlight pen, and make it justify almost anything. I doubt that very devout Muslims are savages that just can’t comprehend the “truth”.
