My friend used to live Top The Answer To The Ultimate Question Of Life The Universe And Everything Is 420 Shirt in a house like that. We had to be careful when making phone calls or texting like 15 yrs ago as a network in his kitchen was one country. And the living room had a network from the neighboring country. Because really if the signal is reaching one room. There’s no way for it to just happen to stop right at the border. And another signal is the one on the other side. Whichever was stronger would take over and it would definitely not be on the border. My granddad grew up in a small town in Holland near the German border in the ’50s. He speaks a form of Dutch that people in the west of Holland can’t understand.

Said that he would walk on some roads and walk into Germany etc. I’d hate to Top The Answer To The Ultimate Question Of Life The Universe And Everything Is 420 Shirts be that intern. You just know people have had sex across the borderline. Blown-in Belgium, nutted in the Netherlands, same BJ. Another weird boundary that existed until August 2015 was Dahala Khagrabari, which was a little piece of India within Bangladesh within India Bangladesh the world’s only third-order enclave (an enclave is a piece of a jurisdiction that is surrounded by another jurisdiction). Don’t want to pay taxes? Build your company’s HQ right on a border. Whenever a tax inspector from each country comes, just move your documents to the other side of the border.

These t-shirts are rather lightweight, but they are very comfortable and work well for me as an undershirt, or as an alternative to going topless while working out. Because they are so light, they dry quickly. Speaking of which, they will shrink substantially as others have noted, so I recommend washing them in cold water and keeping an eye on them in the dryer.
One other thing is that the Washed Heather Gray picture above depicts a pocket t-shirt – this in not the case. They are a light gray with no pocket and somewhat different from the black. I believe the black is 100% cotton, while the gray is 75% cotton/25% polyester – this is probably why the black feels a little more comfortable to me.
I only recently purchased both the black and gray and can’t speak to their longevity, but and at around three bucks a shirt it’s a pretty good deal.
Truth Be Told (verified owner) –
These are good shirts they are soft and comfortable. They are not bulky so you can wear them as an undershirt without feeling stuffed. I use them mostly as a top shirt. The shirts have a nice fit to them. I like the fact that the upper shoulder/deltoid area has a snug fit to give the appearance of a fit body. I have washed them several times and they have not started fading yet. The only issue I have with them is after repeated washes they loose their shape and begin to sag around the collar area.

I pretty much keep coming back to these for plain black T-Shirts. I usually end up spending between $15 and $25 on a 4 pack (depending on if I can find a sale when I need/want to purchase them.) The material is very soft, and to color holds for a good while. I expect the color to stay for a good 8 months to a year with repeated washing. These cost next to nothing, and yet they seem to look good in most casual situations (throw a sport coat on, or a button-down with the top few buttons left undone to dress’em up a bit, if needed.)
FYI: The large fit me best. I’m about a 43short when it comes to a suit jacket, and I’m relatively fit. (Only including this to give a guideline for other buyers.)

Hanes seems to take the cake when it comes to undershirts. I purchased the 4 pack of black/grey, and they are priced perfectly. Be aware that they are 100% cotton. It seems as though the Washed Black Heather undershirts have the polyester mix, and the solid colors are 100% cotton. I’ve noticed that some reviewers are upset that these fit snug, but they are undershirts and are designed this way.
I dig that the undershirts feel soft even after washing, and they don’t grab onto the outer shirt. The shoulders aren’t too long, the collar doesn’t stretch out easily, and they are long enough to tuck in without them constantly pulling out. The black looks good after washing also, which is a big thing for me. I hate having a black undershirt thats faded, as it looks odd if the collar is seen with a nice buttoned polo.

I bought 3 packs of these. I’ve reached a point in my life where I really don’t like t-shirts with anything on them (logos, words, etc.) so these fit in to my base rule of “simple”. The grey is nice. You can wear it with most common colors of jeans. Of course, don’t wear a grey shirt as an undershirt to work, but otherwise, this is great for everything else.
In terms of fit, these are really great for me. Now, I have an unusual body shape: I’m 6’4″ but I only weigh 160. So, I’m very tall and very thin. Finding shirts that work with my body type and don’t have bunches of extra fabric is a real hassle. That said, these are great. I bought the small size, and they’re tight in the chest, with just a bit more fabric to be looser around the abs and waist. It really lends itself to an untucked look with jeans. Sort of the classic grease look, t-shirt and jeans, but since these shirts are grey, they’re a bit easier to keep clean. My girlfriend says that she can’t separate me from this look anymore, because I wear it so often. It’s really nice to feel know that you can just grab a pair of jeans and the first t-shirt in your drawer and look good. (I recommend darker jeans with the grey, just for a bit more contrast).
That said, there are two things that this shirt is a bit annoying with. Firstly, the armpits are a bit tight. Maybe I should try the mediums instead (and I probably will next time I need some), but the armpits do tend to bunch up a bit. The other problem is somewhat an extension of that, and is that this shirt tends to show sweat stains fairly easily. I notice them most clearly in the pits, but they certainly happen on your chest and back as well. All depends on where you sweat. I didn’t knock off much for this, because I think for me, some of it is a problem with the size of the arms, and I hope that this can be fixed with the next size up. The sleeves could also be said to be a bit short, but I think that’s a matter of preference, and I prefer shorter sleeves, so I didn’t take anything off for that.
The fabric is very comfortable, and washes well. I haven’t noticed any significant fraying of seams or any stretching over the course of nine or ten months, so I think the construction is very good.
Definitely recommend, but be sure to check the size chart carefully.

The material on these shirts is so soft and it’s tagless. I am very very happy with them. I’m a girl, and I wear the men’s t’shirts because they just fit better and are styled more appropriate. I wear a bullet proof vest over the shirt. Women’s t-shirts are not affective, with designer cuts and colors and schemes. I just needed a black t-shirt. This one is awesome. It is pushed against my skin all day. No tenderness reactions, not too big, not too small, Just right. I will buy more as I need them. And I cannot tell you how happy not having to go to a store to get them, makes me.

The quality isn’t quite as good as other more expensive name brand crew tees, but for the price you can’t beat them. I wear them as undershirts everyday, and these seem to fit well. If you like them form fitting, just order the size you would normally order. If you are looking for a little extra room, you may like one size bigger. They are tagless too which is a plus. Overall, the quality for the price paid is a great deal. Other name brand undershirts can cost 3 times as much. If these don’t last as long, that is ok. At around 3-4 dollars a piece, I will just buy another pack. I am satisfied.

Let me be simple here: I’m never buying a t-shirt with a tag again, because Hanes has the perfect concept with this tagless. That, alone, would be beautiful… except that the shirts are really, really comfortable too. In the summer, I wear them under my button down shirts, and they look good enough that (when it’s too hot to be outside in a button up shirt) I can just strip down to my t-shirt and head to the train, ride it home, and look perfectly fine. I’ve slept in them some nights, I’ve worked out in them, and yet they still look fantastic underneath the dark button ups that I wear. Perfect purchase. Going to be buying some more.

Yes, I am a female and was looking for a snug but well designed lazy shirt to wear it around home, and searched under women’s department and its mostly for yoga/exercise. I took a leap of faith with this one and ordered fruit of the loom’s version as well and this one rocks. The fruit of the loom feels so cheap comparing to this product which feels so soft. I don’t like wearing a shirt that is too bulky looking and if I am to go to the store real quick yet still look good in the lazy shirt, this is it.
Also, to compare this to regular shirts, the design around the arms are perfectly trim, does not flap, too long/short, long enough to fall around my waist yet trim around my torso, etc. Ideal product I’ve ordered in a long time and will order this again without a doubt.

I’m only like 5’11”. Granted, I have a 29-30″ inseam, so I’m mostly torso, but man, these shirts can be so short sometimes! Overall, the quality is nice and it fits fine, but they’re a little shorter than I’d like. I’ll be purchasing some 2XLT shirts soon to test out, it’s just weird cause I’m not considered “tall” by any stretch of the imagination.
Amazon Customer (verified owner) –
Bought these a few weeks ago to wear around the house.
I didn’t notice until after I washed them that all three shirts had thread bundled up and protruding from the left shoulder seam. I was a bit disappointed, but eventually decided that it didn’t really matter since I was the only person that was going to see and wear these.
Another con is that the ‘tag’ (what appears to be a silk screened print on the inside of the collar) is extremely hard to see at times, so I end up putting these on backwards quite a bit since nothing on the outside distinguishes the front/back.
On the up side: these fit myself quite nicely and are comfortable despite the shortcomings. I guess you get what you pay for in terms of quality.
plokivos (verified owner) –
I love these. It’s soft, washes well, and so far hasn’t faded in color yet.
Price is somewhat questionable, but it’s almost impossible to find a pack of 6 of just black shirts, so I guess it is what it is.
The only downside to Hanes tagless prints are that it will fade, rather quickly, so you have to figure out which is the front in the morning while you’re still half of sleep. And I have gone to work wearing this backwards, inside out wondering why my neck was so tight, so there is that.

Got these for my hubby. They have held up well wash after wash after wash. Now please be careful with the sizing. I did order two sizes up to allow for dryer shrinkage which turned out to be a great idea. At first my husband thought I should send them back because they were really big but I convinced him to keep them, and boy am I glad. After months of washing the T-shirts are now a perfect fit. So if your going to order a less expensive T-Shirt like these, I would suggest going up at least one or two sizes. My husband got away with wearing them as regular T’s on the outside of a pair of khakis or blue jeans. Nice for the summer and spring. Now that they’ve shrunk, he wears them inside his slacks and with a shirt over them. Very nice cotton and they’ve maintained their pretty white color. I would definately buy them again.

For the price these are great!!! If you don’t want them
to Shrink as I have read from other reviewers here is
a tip…DO NOT wash or rinse in hot or even warm water!
Cold Water Only!!!
DO NOT put them in a dryer either as they will without a
doubt SHRINK!!!
They are kind of on the thin material side and that is why
I like them. I wash them in a laundry liquid by…
Biokleen cold-water-formula, I soak them in my sink in the
bathroom and squeeze gently and hang on a hanger to dry.
I like to hang them outside on a hook in a beam on my patio
with a swivel top on the clothes hanger.
Good luck with, and how ever you choose to do yours!!!

These are nice tees, with that soft comfortable feel you only get from 100 percent cotton. They’re a bit thinner than I could have wished – reason for 4 stars instead of 5 – but still very nice. They wash and dry well, so far, in cold water and low heat, with very little shrinkage, and still soft and comfortable. I’m well satisfied with my purchase and will buy again if the price doesn’t increase too much for my pocket.

Pretty great shirts for the value, I dislike tacky and flashy clothing. They have not shrunk, I hand wash everything with hot water and then rinse with cold, and save my machine for large items like bed linens. They pick up lint like a madman, but a quick shaking and brushing takes care of it, they fit perfectly as well, they also arrived with lint on them and where sort of meh upon first inspection, but as stated cleaned up fine. Overall I’m pretty happy with them.
Agerrle Isnowon (verified owner) –
These are really too thin, I must say. The fit is fine, no problems there, but you can almost see through them if you hold them up to the light. The absolute BEST men’s t-shirts are the Kirkland brand for sale at Costco. They are thick, soft, and wonderful. They hold up well to many, many, many washings, and only get softer with time. If you have access to Costco, get in there and get you some Kirkland brand t-shirts.

I don’t know what T-shirt companies think people are supposed to pay for a decent t- shirt but this is getting nuts.
ALL of these fit differently, were lopsided, had thread hanging at all the seems, etc. etc. They were also only minimally thicker than the tissue paper hanes t-shirts you can get a Walmart. Last time I’ll buy Hanes anything.
The weird thing is that I discovered these “Ultimate” t-shirts at a Ross store, white ones, bought them and was so impressed that I had finally found a great, thick well-fitting t-shirt that I got on Amazon and bought them in black. COMPLETELY different t-shirt, EXACT same product.

I searched the Internet for days to find Hanes Our Most Comfortable T-shirts and was so excited when I found them here. Unfortunately, that’s not what I received. I got the comfortsoft T-shirts. I’m using them for tie dye so it’s not that big of a deal. But the ones I was hoping to get were the softest shirts I’ve ever gotten and I was looking forward to having more super soft tie dye shirts.

Fine undershirts. quite thin, do shrink. For a tall person (im 6’4″) id say these arent ideal if you need them to tuck in, i dont so its not a problem

Nice comfortable shirts… however, my 2XLs (which I buy mostly for the length) were great out of the package, but shrank 2-3 inches in length – which for me (long torso) is not workable. I’ve found Tall sizes to be extreme (almost down to my knees) – so I guess I’m a tween… but despite the nice feel, I won’t buy these again due to the length shrinkage. I’ve only bought Hanes in the past -100% cotton, 2XL tagless and they’ve always worked great… but not these.

I purchased this 3-pack of cotton tees for my husband. He likes them because they wash well and have an athletic fit. The tees are durable and don’t hold on to odors. A good choice for lean guys who need a dark tee for under a uniform or for casual wear.
Guys who like a looser cut tee may want to look elsewhere though.

Fits perfect. Keeps that new soft for the first few washes. I get the whole tag free generations but I hate it when it finds to not having your glasses on. People who don’t have 20/20 or legally blind peuoke want their tags back. Great price compared to any big box store. Solid and reliable.

I wear it inside my shirt. Its good for me but neck fitting doesn’t last long. It gets loose after few weeks. I want something which remains for longer time.

Good product but after a while and washes the printed tag washes away and then you dont which is the front or back of the shirt. My husband really likes Hanes. The tagless wash away is my only complaint
Tom in KY (verified owner) –
though they were the same brand and size that I buy locally, these fit weird and I would not reorder. I actually trashed most of them because they were uncomfortable. Too loose at the neck and the sleeves too short and it binded in the shoulders. I’m not a fattie, so there’s no excuse. Whomever they cut these for must have a weird body.
TeaTea78 (verified owner) –
I got these for work only.. They look ok as expected for the price.. Didn’t shrink in wash but, I did up size just for that reason.. Would but again for non important days of wanting to wear a white tee..

Bought these before from a retail store for my husband to use under his uniform vest. They were great but we couldn’t find them again In the store so I ordered on here. Same item but they must have changed the design as well as the material since it’s not as soft and the sleeves are very tight/small compared to the last ones we bought from the store. I bought two sets but ended up having to return one since my husband hated the new version of this

I’ve found a lot of the less expensive white tee multi-packs to be a letdown in terms of lifespan, and this was similar. When it came it was super soft and comfortable with a good, albeit slightly small (which I’m used to for hanes and buy accordingly) fit and a good white color. They really are nice to wear.
I find, though that I don’t get as many uses out of these shirts before they start losing some softness and the color doesn’t hold up as well as I’d like, so I often can’t use them as an undershirt. I still find them as good “around-the-house” tees in those cases, and the price and convenience here more than make up for it, since I can always buy a few more for a bit less than some local options.
I’m never disappointed with these Hanes tees. but it isn’t the sort of value or product that is too exciting when you look at the whole package.

T shirts were mostly as expected. I have been buying these for years. Shrunk a little more than I expected.
JKidd (verified owner) –
Again, just a t-shirt but it fits well and does what I expect from it. However, the black t-shirt carries some serious attitude over my white ones. With the simple change of a t-shirt, I can transform from a well-dressed individual into a complete BADASS!!! The first time I wore one of the black ones, I had a memory gap during my day…and come to find a tattoo on my left bicep!!! BAM! Now my white t-shirts are a bit hesitant to go in the drawer with the black ones. I can only imagine what goes on in there.
If you end up going with this black t-shirt, consider yourself forewarned – with great power comes great responsibility and it is NOT a license to go all “Bruce Lee” on everyone. Wear it with humility and treat it with the respect it has earned.

I wish I returned while I could have. Sure this is cotton but it is the soft cotton that attracts my blond hair and my dog’s white hair to stick to it like a magnet. I purchased these a couple years ago to lounge around the house. It was one of my favorite thing to wear. The large was a relaxed fit and long in length. I could wear a small or medium. I wore them beyond the armpits all ripping open. The cotton that was used to make these before was a stiffer cotton that would allow a wipe of the hand to remove the hair. Now, forget about it. It is becoming harder to find this kind of cotton these days from the computer screen but I think I will have to purchase tshirts only in person now so I do not make the same mistake. If you love the soft cotton, you should love these shirts.
Shawn Hoerner (verified owner) –
Shirts are comfortable and fit well – as expected for undershirts. Frankly, they look like they would be acceptable to wear outside as I don’t see the “see through” qualities everyone else seems to.
The reason why I only rated it 3/5 stars: the shirt packaged on the front of the package had two places where threading had come loose and left a big plume of cotton where it had not been finished. Seeing this (as the shirt that is ‘displaying’ the product no less) makes me severely doubt there is any quality control performed in the factory. Time will tell if I actually got three shirts out of this package or just two.
Also, the shirt shrunk about 1″ in both chest and length after washing. Not terrible, but still significant.
Nuno Santos (verified owner) –
I use these as undershirts. They are soft, comfortable and did not shrink too much after a few washes. They are true to size and overall great shirts. Would recommend and will probably buy more in the future.

By ordering the Comfortsoft tees, no matter what size I can feel confident in knowing exactly how they are going to fit. Some colors I like loose fit, and others a little more snug. It’s maybe something that you have to practice a few times. I suggest that you order a size up for lots of breathing room, or maybe you like them snug, but what ever, You Can Rest Assured That You’re Going to get what you’re expecting. Don’t forget. They also feel nice, and I love the shade of black even after several washings. They sell quick, so get them while you can.
