I thought that was Pretty Bluey This Is What An Awesome Dad Looks Like Shirt hogwash myself. My father did something that I couldn’t quite let go of. I let it color many interactions. Yet thankfully he still kept showing up and I still told him I loved him. I still regret that I held on until he was dying recently and maybe could not even truly hear me. All that built up spite gave me nothing. I felt so good for giving him but saying I would carry on only the good lessons he taught me. That his legacy would be positive. I can now only imagine the hug or sound of his laugh…or even the occasional tears I got to share with him.
