and he did!
On top of that, though, this t-shirt truly is jersey quality! The material is kind of slick and shiny…so this is not your run of the mill cotton t….love it!

This “jersey” was a huge success with my 6 year old nephew! Since none of the reviews mentioned information regarding sizing I wanted to post information here. My nephew was a size 8. I purchased a 10-12 jersey and it was perfect with room for him to grow and should last this thin but tall boy for a year if there are no more growth spurts! It is a comfortable jersey and Cody Bellenger is his favorite player so he was excited to wear a Dodger Jersey with Bellenger and #35 on the back. Well made jersey, not a T-shirt … Better! 😊

First off, this is a great cotton screen printed team shirt. It does exactly what it it is intended for, shows support for one of the best infielders of our time from a team that has been a contender every year that he has played, including his first season starting Opening Day in The Show as the youngest Third Baseman in history, coming home with a World Series. It’s going to look great in the stands in Houston with the other blue and orange shirts drowning out all those Rangers fans that are going to travel down I-45 to get spanked, turned around, and sent home. However, the ad is misleading as it as described as 100% polyester, the common material for water-wicking/ cool feeling, usually referred to as performance. I take away three stars for the misleading information in the description, but add two back because my daughter will be ecstatic to receive this as one of her birthday presents to wear at the game.

I ordered 2 youth shirts, one Cubs, one Astro’s. The print and design was great, but the material is a thick cotton for both shirts, not a light polyester like in the description. I attempted to reach out to the 3rd party seller but there was no answer. Amazon deferred to a return rather than trying to get an exchange to happen, since the seller wouldn’t respond. Disappointed, as it appears some of the delivered shirts are actually poly per the reviews. I wish it was an easier process to get what is listed.

I received my shirt from SportsMonster third party seller. The shirt is 100% cotton in the Large 14/16. Because it’s 100% cotton, it will shrink. I plan on returning this for the X Large 18/20. I noticed the X large is sold from Genie Outlet. I am hoping the sizing won’t be off. My son is 14, 5’9″, 135 lbs. The large would maybe work now but once I wash and dry it, it will be too small. At least, Amazon will have free returns when the item description is wrong. So I only have the inconvenience of returning it.

As described, I was honestly thrown off by the XL being “18-20” because I’ve never seen that number comparison before and it was such a jump from the L 10-12. In case you’re wondering, the Youth XL is equivalent to any other Youth XL. It will fit my almost 11 year old perfectly (he is 5’ tall for reference). He’s going to freak when he opens it on his upcoming 11th birthday!

Not performance polyester material as advertised. Comes 100% cotton.
Here is the deal. There are two amazon listing for this shirt. One is a standard cotton shirt for approximately 9.99. The other is the same design but advertised as performance polyester material for approximately 13.99.
I purchased the medium which was slightly small so I went to order a large and found the polyester version, so I ordered that one for slightly more money. In the end it is the exact same shirt, so maybe the warehouse has the location wrong or the pickers are pulling the wrong shirt and there is a overflowing box of polyester shirts with odd inventory counts.
Either way, overlooking the material this is a very nice shirt at an unbelievable price. Runs slightly small so order one size larger. Truly a great looking shirt.
