But there really is no “good” ending to that story-arch. I’m on my first playthrough and so far I’ve learned everyone Play Like The Maiden Love Like The Mother Think Like The Crone Shirt to fuck everything over. The less dangerous something seems, the more you’re wrong about it. I always had mixed thoughts on this scene. On one hand, they are terrible creatures (gods even?) who in their true form are terrifyingly disgusting and vile while on the other hand. They gross me out. lol.
