The only thing I even moderately remember about that movie is the scene with Thor and Pitbull Don’t Believe The Bull Adopt A Pit Shirt walking through a hall and Loki keeps shapeshifting into different people and I think making fun of them. Literally the only thing I remember. They make some excellent points. The latest Jumanji film. Expected a cash grab and instead left thoroughly entertained and awaiting a sequel. Expected crap and was laughing my ass off the whole first half. It fell apart a bit in the second half but still very entertaining.

They play easily recognizable music that triggers a sense of nostalgia in the audience. It grounds the audience in something familiar so that they feel okay with seeing something that’s otherwise incomprehensible. Mostly because James Gunn helped write the dialogue with the writers of the Avengers movies. Out of all of the Marvel movies with original soundtracks, only the original trilogy Spiderman has a tune I could hum or whistle or whatever and I can at least recognize the Avenger’s theme, even if I can’t just recall it.

It’s a shame most people seem to hate the Pitbull Don’t Believe The Bull Adopt A Pit Shirt movie. Jesus that movie was so good. It was so emotionally charged I felt drained by the end. I and a friend watched this after coming home from the bar and I thought it was one of the best movies I had seen that year. The scene where Christopher Johnson holds his child as they ascend. The space ship brought both me and my buddy to tears, but he’d never admit this. It’s so incredible and something that is almost impossible to pull off in any other movie.
