It is sad! I’m 26, employed full time with benefits. This 1200 dollar check will be the most money I’ve had together at once in 3+ years. We did this one year when I was a kid for gifts for the extended family, except with larger amounts to make home-made Play-Doh from which we made Christmas ornaments, which we painted and lacquered. I didn’t know at the time, but it was because there was no money for much more. It was fun and I still have good memories of Perfect Kansas City Chiefs Heart Nurse Stethoscope Shirt. I love homemade stuff like that! I tried the salt dough thing once to do their tiny little handprints but for some reason, they just didn’t turn out.
