Mass Effect Andromeda has an absolutely gorgeous environment and is an absolute garbage game. Vampire the masquerade bloodlines have pretty bad graphics (by modern standards) and are phenomenal and I regularly replay it. All of those have questionable graphics nowadays but everything else is. Unreal Tournament 99 had worse graphics at the time than its competitor Quake 3, but the modality made it so its life lived much longer.

An obscure title, but being that it eventually led to Rockstar Games, the guys who put out graphic marvels regularly, I’d say “Space station: Silicon Valley”. The level of creativity and diversity in the gameplay is both uncanny and fun as shit. It looks awful, but most of P Valley Uncle Clifford Rule No. 24.5 No Crying At The Pink Vintage Shirt the N64 library did. It looks and plays like a game that would’ve existed back when dial-up was a thing, but the freedom given to the player to do anything they want to in the world is amazing. It’s definitely got a steep learning curve too. You’re not a hero, you’re nobody- a mere pawn in the grand scheme of things.
