The movie idea based on the comic sounds amazing, it truly is unfortunate we didn’t get that. Honestly, I couldn’t care less about female characters, I just want a Nice Ghostbusters The Video Game Remastered Shirt! Good story, decent effects (but this is easily forgivable), and something not entirely forgettable. Female characters or not, just give me a good story! It could be all-female, mixed male and female, people of different colors, pretty much anything so long as it is written well.

It wasn’t reviled because it didn’t crap all over the 80s version. It just expanded the story. All the characters we loved from the Kurt Russell movie still existed, but now there were new Nice Ghostbusters The Video Game Remastered Shirt and new angles to the story. They even had the decency and courtesy to tie the two movies together and have the ending of the prequel exactly match up with the beginning of its predecessor. They came to The Thing and didn’t wreck it. You could take or leave the prequel, but you didn’t have to accept that they’d completely erased the 80s movie, as they did with Ghostbusters.
