The Democrats have repeatedly tried making voting day a federal holiday and the Republicans continually block it. As a non-American, I don’t understand why it’s not. We are given half the day off to vote and then report to work. If you are working at another state and have to go back home to vote in your state elections, you are given paid days off. You need to make it easier for people to vote! If I have a minimum wage job, I’d be more concerned about losing working hours and pay.
